Florida State University provides a wide variety of computing
resources for members of the FSU community. Keeping computers,
networks and related peripheral equipment operating at peak productivity
helps faculty, staff and students succeed in their research, instruction,
productivity and learning goals. To best facilitate and ensure
uninterrupted access to data and systems, the University Information
Security Office oversees information technology security and related
policy issues.
The Security Office:
- promotes an understanding of technology and
security throughout the University community.
- develops an organizational base for addressing
computing security issues and communicating openly about them
- develops university security policy;
- actively pursues improved security processes
and procedures throughout the University community.
These policy, anti-virus and related security links will help
FSU computer users practice safe computing and trust the integrity
of data and systems.
